On November 11, 2014, the Water Quality Monitoring for the Tabasará River was carried out, as part of internal monitoring processes of the Barro Blanco Hydroelectric Project (BBHP). The monitoring was performed by the external consultant “Laboratorio AQUATEC”, in three points defined in the BBHP’s baseline. In each analyzed point, it was evaluated compliance of key parameters required by Panama’s environmental regulations.

On November 25, 2014 the company ITS Consultores, S.A., hired by GENISA as External Environmental Consultant to perform environmental monitoring of Barro Blanco Hydroelectric Project, visited Project area. This company is in charge of preparing the monthly, quarterly and semiannual reports that are sent to the National Authority of Environment (Spanish Acronym, ANAM) according to the Approval Resolutions contained in the Environmental Impact Studies
On August 8, 2014 it was carried out the measurement of Occupational Noise (dosimetry) by the consultant Envirolab, according to what is established in the Environmental Management Plan,Environmental Impact Study Category III Resolution IA. 332–2008

On August 19 2014, GENISA supported the Health Center “Cristobalina Murgas de Antinori” with transportation for medical personal in the vaccination tour program. The support was addressed to “Alto Guayabo” community, located at District of Tole.
On August 18 2014, GENISA made a donation of a “stove” to the “Colegio Comercial de Tole” located at the District of Tole to improve the chemistry classroom.
